Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the City of Burnet Community Development Department is to enrich the quality of life in Burnet through economic, social and cultural growth.
Long known as a great place to live, Burnet has also become a great place to invest as evidenced by Money Magazine® who listed Burnet County in January 2006 as one of "Five Rural Hot Spots" in the nation. When reviewing this information, you will immediately notice that Burnet has experienced remarkable growth in recent years.
Something that we have known for quite some time has now become apparent to others. The natural beauty of our lakes and hills, the lack of city traffic congestion, fresh country air, and an excellent quality of life with good old fashion family values has begun to attract people to our community from all over the country and we are excited about that!
Our goal is to achieve aggressive, sustainable growth that will be mutually beneficial for all of the citizens of Burnet. We hope you have the same goals in mind.
