NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burnet that the City will: 1) work with the Burnet Chamber of Commerce and the Burnet Industrial Foundation to encourage and promote the development and retention of retail and industrial businesses within the community; 2) work with the other entities mentioned herein, and local businesses in development and implementing plans for capital improvements in support of local economic development efforts and will seek public funds when necessary and appropriate; and 3) will consider programs such as tax abatement and utility incentives on a case-by-case basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Burnet Industrial Foundation that the Board will work with the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Burnet to encourage and promote the development of retail industrial businesses.
