"Our Community - Our Commitment"

The Burnet Police Department is responsible for a coverage area through the City's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (one mile outside the current City Limit). The City also maintains Mutual Aid Agreements with County, State and other local law enforcement agencies.

The administrative facility for police operations is located at 105 S. Rhomberg, across from the Fire Department.

While the PD provides 24-hour service, the station does not provide 24-hour lobby service. The lobby is open from 8-5 p.m. Monday - Friday, except during the lunch hour.

For emergency police and fire assistance, dial 9 -1 -1 twenty-four hours a day. For general information and assistance, call (512) 756-6404.

Neighborhood Watch Program: The Burnet Police Department sponsors local area neighborhood watch programs throughout the city.  Check this page to find out information about a program being organized in your neighborhood.
