Burnet Historic Business District

Burnet is proud of our many historically significant buildings and the historical aura that you experience as you stroll the broad sidewalks in our Historic Business District. Burnet's downtown square is the model that many cities are doing their best to copy! We don't need to create a town center atmosphere, we already have it and it's been here since the 1800's.

Nestled in the heart of old Burnet, the square offers a myriad of activities for visitors and citizens alike. Situated just southeast of the intersection of Highways 29 and 281, the merchants and businesses in the Historic Business District welcome you.

From Highway 29 go south on Pierce Street or Main Street. From Highway 281 go east on Jackson Street or Washington Street.

If your business is located in the historic district and you do not see it here, contact cbromley@cityofburnet.com to have your business added.
