Welcome to the City of Burnet web site. Whether you are a long time resident, a newcomer or just passing through, we invite you to browse our site for information about the city and your city government.

 The 2016 Summer Concert Series will begin on Saturday May 7th with Two Tons of Steel.  The concerts will be held at Haley Nelson Park Amphitheater, 301 Garden Trails Drive (just off of Highway 29 West) in Burnet.  Gates open at 6:30, shows start at 7:30. BYOB.  Admission depends on the show, kids under six are free.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at


Shows are as follows:

May 7 - Two Tons of Steel - Admission is free

May 21 - Kyle Park with special guest Luke Pell - $15/pp

June 18 - William Clark Green and JB & the Moonshine Band - $15/pp

July 23 - Stoney LaRue with special guest Brandon Jenkins - $15/pp


Also included in this year's lineup is a Bluegrass Festival slated for September 17 from 1 pm until 9 pm


The series is sponsored by the Burnet Economic Development Corporation, the City of Burnet, Double Eagle Entertainment, KBEY 103.9 FM and Saturday Night Tailgate.
