Warrants

Failure to dispose of your citation in a timely manner will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest. When a warrant is issued, the fine is set to the maximum allowed by law, an additional $50 warrant fee is added, and an additional $10 OmniBase fee is added to suspend or deny issuance of your driver’s license. An additional 30% fee is added after 60 days when it is sent to the Collection Agency, Perdue, Brandon, Fielder-Collins & Mott, LLP.

If there is an active warrant for your arrest, this could also result in you being arrested during any contact with a police officer.

Paying a Warrant Online

You may pay an active warrant online using the online payment system. You may also come in person to the Municipal Court Office and pay your warrants using cash, credit or debit.

Please note: if you pay your warrant online after business hours, during the weekend or on a City of Burnet Holiday, your payment will not be processed until the following business day. Please allow for 48 hours for the hold to be removed from your license.

Inability to Pay

If you are unable to pay your warrant in full, please contact the Court Clerk to discuss your options.

**Please note: the warrant listing is updated quarterly. If you took care of your warrant after the date the warrants were posted, it will not be reflected on this listing until the next quarter. The listing does not affect your chances of being arrested.**
